As I was taking time to read some of my favorite blogs today, I ran across this post from MsSingleMama, musings on dating, life, love and motherhood. She compares dating to shoe shopping.

“What if she stood up and walked around that bar or that coffee shop and pretended like she was shopping for a pair of shoes? She would mix, she would mingle and she would perhaps try on her favorite man to see if he fits. If not she would move on.”

This is a great read and I could not have said it better. I am going to try this the next time I am in a crowd and am tempted to just stand back and observe. Shopping anyone??
